RPSC RAS Selection Process 2024:
Prelims: This is a 3-hour written test with 200 multiple-choice questions. Each right answer gives you 1 point, but a wrong answer deducts 1/3rd of a point. The test is in English and Hindi and includes General Knowledge & Science.
Mains: This is also a written test, but with descriptive/analytical questions. It has four 3-hour papers, each worth 200 points. The papers cover various topics in General Studies and Hindi/English.
Interview: This is a personal discussion where your performance is evaluated. It carries 100 points.
Only those who clear the Prelims can take the Mains, and only the best performers in the Mains are called for the Interview. The final selection is based on your scores in the Mains and Interview.
