The website edudel.nic.in is accepting applications for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) admissions for classes 2 to 9 for the academic year 2024-25. The Education Department will soon start accepting nursery admission forms for private schools. Admissions for the 2024-2025 academic year will open for Nursery, KG, and Class 1. The Delhi Education Department has announced the 2024-25 EWS admission dates. A quarter of all seats in private schools are reserved for EWS and DG category students. EWS Admission 2024-25 Last Date:
The application process for EWS admissions for Nursery, Kindergarten, and Class 1 for 2024-25 is now closed. The last date to apply was December 15, 2023. Schools will soon release the first list of admitted students.
EWS Admission Delhi 2024-25:
The EWS admission process for 2024-25 in Delhi schools is now complete. This includes admissions for Nursery, Kindergarten, and Class 1. A quarter of the seats were reserved for EWS and DG students. These students needed additional documents for admission into private schools.
Delhi EWS Eligibility 2024:
The Delhi Education Department has shared the eligibility for Nursery Admissions. Notably, 25% of seats in private schools are reserved for underprivileged and disabled students. Schools can set their own criteria, and some give extra points if a child’s family attended there. Factors like distance from school or residence may be considered.

EWS Merit List 2024-2025 :
The first merit list for Delhi Nursery, Kindergarten, and Class 1 admissions for 2024-25 will be online on January 12, 2024. Parents can check it on the school’s official websites. If you have any questions about your child’s points, you can ask from January 13 to 22. The second merit list will be out on January 29, and more lists may follow on February 2 if needed. The whole admission process will end by March 8.
