- Download the official mParivahan app by NIC eGov from the Play Store.
- Open the app once it’s installed. If you’re new, sign up using your mobile number. You will receive an OTP on your phone.
- Enter the OTP and click on “Verify”.
Parivahan Pay Challans and Fines Online:
Here is a simple way to pay challans or fines online:
- Go to the ‘Check Online Services’ on the top left of the e-challan parivahan page.
- Select ‘Check Challan Status’ from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your ‘DL Number,’ ‘Vehicle Number,’ or ‘Challan Number.’ Fill in the captcha and click ‘Get Detail.’
- You’ll see the e-challan status. Click ‘Pay Now’ in the payment column.
- Choose your preferred payment method to proceed.
- After payment, you will get a confirmation message with the transaction ID on your registered mobile number.

Here’s a simple guide to pay your taxes using Parivahan Sewa:
- Visit the official website, parivahan.gov.in. Click on “Check Post Tax” under the “Online Services” section.
- A new page will open. Click on “Tax Payment.”
- Choose your current state and the service name from the menu, then click “Go.”
- On the “Border Tax Payment” page, enter your car’s VIN and click “Get Details.” Some fields will auto-fill.
- Fill in the remaining details. Click on “Calculate Tax” or “Pay Tax” to proceed with the payment.
- You will be redirected to a payment gateway. Choose your payment method and click “Continue.”
