Seva Sindhu Student Bus Pass Online Application 2024-25
The Karnataka state government, along with KSRTC, has launched an online system called Seva Sindhu for applying for student bus passes for the 2024-25 academic year.
How to Apply:
Visit the Website: Go to sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in.
Register:
- Select “department and services.”
- Click on “apply online” and proceed to “service plus.”
- Register as a new user using your Aadhaar card details.
Fill Application Form:
- Go to ksrtc.in.
- Click ‘Apply Now’ and fill out the form with your personal, contact, and educational details.
- Upload a recent photo as per guidelines.
- Submit the form.
Required Documents:
- Passport
- Voter ID
- Aadhaar card
- Driver’s license
- Identity card with date of birth
- Proof of residence
- Senior citizen identity card (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
Application Status:
To check the status of your application:
- Log in to your Seva Sindhu account.
- Go to “Application Status.”
- Select either “BMTC Student Bus Pass” or “KSRTC Student Bus Pass.”
- Enter your application reference number.
- Click “Check Status.”
Types of Bus Passes:
- Daily Pass: Valid for one day.
- Monthly Pass: For students, traders, and employees, valid for one month.
- Senior Citizen Concession: 25% off for Karnataka residents aged 60 and above.
- Physically Challenged Concession: For individuals with at least 40% disability, costing Rs. 660/-.
Additional Information:
- Free Travel for Women: Under the Shakti Scheme.
- Concessions for Girl Students from Neighboring States: Apply for concessional passes online.
Collection of Passes:
Approved passes can be collected from designated counters starting June 1, 2024.
Renewal:
Senior Citizens and Physically Challenged: Renew passes annually between January 1st and February 28th.
